Hi

I haven't written anything on this blog for months. Simon and I seemed to have gotten very busy with our pamphlet and then life took over. It feels strange to continue with this, as Simon is no longer with us, and this was a joint project. However, maybe I should continue, in his memory.

In that spirit, here is a haiku, written today:

showers

of bird song

fall from the sky

It has been a gorgeous early February day today, clear blue sky (mostly) and the light is teasing the trees in the garden as the sun gets lower in the sky. It is magical. Had my friend still been alive he would have been enjoying today, making the most of life. This haiku then is dedicated to him.
