This year seems to have raced by at a rate of knots. In a couple of days it will be the Easter holidays. When I look out, the garden is a sea of limes, lemons, golds and yellows (with the odd splash of pink). It is also wet. Still it is great to see new life emerging. I have seen birds building nests, bumblebees hovering and even a butterfly sunning its wings. Admittedly it is a bit early, as it is March.

And finally to pivot...

no socialism here
Nothing to do with Easter, but our garden is over run with wood pigeons and they manage to hoover up all the seed I put out in about 2 minutes or less, leaving nothing for any other bird. The garden used to have many visitors, from different species, but like many suburban gardens it seems, the diversity over time has become less and less.
