Haiku for the weekend

After a long week and some very interesting weather (ok, snow, which was a short lived affair) it is finally Friday. Yes, the weekend is here! For me that usually involves writing one or two poems, reading and other things. As I am adding a haiku every day (almost) here is one about the white stuff (which I have to say is not my favourite form of water!)

the beauty of snow

is only outdone

by its thaw

Yes I am a fan of colour!
