The sounds of spring - today's haiku

Valentine's Day and the birds in the garden are becoming more active, it won't be soon before they find a mate and start raising a family. There is so much promise in nature and much to look forward to as spring slowly unfurls. Thinking about this conjures up many images in my mind - so many memories and thoughts too of what is to come. These came together and inform the following haiku, which I hope you will enjoy:
